I’ve always had a soft spot for The Honest Lawyer Hotel. It’s just a few miles from Durham city centre, and did you know my first job after leaving school as a part time receptionist was here!? That was a whopping 20 years ago now, and wow how time flies. Another fun fact is both my Mam and my Gran worked there - my Gran, along with her sister Celia, was a housekeeper there, many years ago when it was known as the Crest Motel.
I was down there for a coffee today with Ross, the hotel’s general manager, who I’ve worked with for years as well. It was great to catch up with him to learn about all of the exciting developments taking place!
